"Those eyes"

Well, this beautiful little girl gave me a run for my money!! I had to come back for a second try, because she wasn't in the mood for our first shoot! I came bearing gifts and we made progress. We may not have gotten any big smiles, but we certainly got some beautiful shots of those gorgeous blue eyes!!! Thank you Benso family for having me in your home...(several times)!

Like father, like son...

I couldn't believe that it was time to do my grandbaby's one year pics already!! Where does the time go? Well, what a better place to do the shoot than at his daddy's work!! We made a fun playday out of it and everyone got to have a little fun on the equipment!! And...managed to get some adorable shots of the birthday boy! I do have to say.....that he is usually the most smiley baby in the world, and of course on this day, we couldn't buy a smile! Oh well, he's still adorable!!

Here is a sneak peak at the shoot I did the other day of this precious new baby. I was honored when his mom , who was my son's 5th grade teacher, asked me if I would do his pictures! Of course!!!! Thanks for asking Erin, it was my pleasure!!

A little miracle....

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of this little guy and his cute parents. He was born against all odds and you would never know it looking at him now! He is a little ball of energy! What a miracle.... it reminds me to enjoy the precious things in life. All the other "stuff" doesn't matter. Thanks for allowing me to capture that beautiful little smile it was my pleasure!!

What a natural....

As a photographer, it is always a pleasure to shoot someone that is a natural in front of the camera! Little H definitely was. Thanks for enduring the heat guys. The shots are amazing! Here are a few of my favorites!

Back again....

I wanted to explain why I have been pretty much non-existent on my blog lately! No, I'm not dead, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a bilateral mastectomy. I am beginning my treatments on Monday. I might be down, but I'm not out!! I'm not going to let this keep me down. My true desire is to continue taking amazing shots of beautiful children and creating artwork from them! So, don't hesitate to call me to book a shoot.

So, with that all out of the way Iwanted to post some shots that I have taken while recovering up north.
